Frequently asked questions
Plain answers about price, what’s included, and how Bigger Edge works.
How much does a website cost?
A professionally designed managed website is $149/month after a 30-day trial. Nothing to pay today. Cancel anytime. That covers design, build, hosting, maintenance, and routine updates — not a large agency invoice up front.
Is there a big upfront payment?
No. There is no large setup fee for a typical small-business website. You start a 30-day trial with a card on file and nothing due today. After the trial, the monthly service rate begins unless you cancel.
What does the monthly price include?
Design and development of a normal small-business website, mobile-ready layout, managed hosting, SSL, backups, software and security maintenance, contact forms, basic on-page SEO, analytics setup, Search Console readiness, ongoing support, and routine content changes under a reasonable-use policy.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Hosting is part of the service. You should not need a separate hosting account or another company to keep the site online.
Can you update my website for me?
Yes. Routine website updates are included under a reasonable-use policy. You should not have to learn a builder or find a developer every time a phone number, hours, or service needs changing.
What if I already have a website?
That is common. We can replace an outdated site, rebuild from your current content, or start fresh if the old site is holding you back.
Can you redesign an existing site?
Yes. Many customers come to us because the current site looks old, is awkward on phones, or nobody is left to maintain it.
Do I own my domain?
Yes. Your domain stays in your name. If you already own one, we will use it. If you need a domain, we will help you get one — domain registration is billed by the registrar, not bundled as a hidden hosting extra.
Can you build an online store?
We can, but e-commerce is quoted separately. The monthly managed website is for a typical small-business site, not a full store with product catalogues and checkout.
What if I need bookings or special functionality?
Tell us what you need. Booking tools, custom software, and complex integrations are quoted separately so the core website stays straightforward.
How long does the build take?
Most typical small-business sites are designed, reviewed, and launched in a few weeks, depending on how quickly we receive your content, photos, and feedback.
What happens if I don't like the website?
We work with you through the initial design and a reasonable revision process. If the finished initial website still isn't right, the Website Satisfaction Guarantee lets you cancel and receive a refund of your initial Bigger Edge service payment.
What's the Website Satisfaction Guarantee?
It is our way of removing the risk of commissioning the first website. We want you to be genuinely happy with what we build. The exact terms are on the Guarantee page and in the service terms.
Is there a minimum term?
No. There is a 30-day trial, then monthly billing. Cancel anytime. Service continues until the end of the current trial or paid period.
Do I get a login?
Yes. You create a password during signup. That account is where you see billing, website progress, and send change requests — like a support ticket.
Can you help with Google?
We set the site up with a Google-friendly technical structure, basic on-page SEO, analytics, and Search Console readiness. Paid ads and ongoing SEO retainers are separate if you want them.
Do you only work with businesses in the Tri-Cities?
No. We work with businesses in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Jonesborough, Elizabethton, and the surrounding Tri-Cities — and we also work remotely with businesses elsewhere in the United States.
