The Misfits Fitness
A welcoming local fitness brand with a modern website designed to make programs easy to understand and joining feel straightforward.
The business
The Misfits Fitness is an independent gym in Johnson City, Tennessee. The public site describes a welcoming fitness center with open-gym workouts and classes led by coaches, plus nutrition guidance and a community that is meant to feel approachable rather than exclusive.
The gym lists its location as 105 Klm Dr Suite 15, Johnson City, TN 37615, United States.
What the website needed to do
A consumer-facing site that presents the gym clearly, works well on a phone, and makes the next step — claiming a class — obvious.
That is a practical brief, not a marketing slogan. A local gym website fails when a visitor cannot tell what kind of place it is, whether they would feel comfortable walking in, or how to take a first step. The replacement site is designed around those decisions.
What visitors are supposed to do
On the live homepage, the gym is presented with:
- A clear sense of community and coaching, including a prominent call to claim a class
- An explanation of training, nutrition, and accountability rather than a list of machines
- A layout that still makes the next step obvious on a phone
- Location details so a Johnson City visitor can actually get there
